FINDYOURNORTH STAR.
"I work out, but I don't know what I'm doing." If that's the line you keep saying in the mirror, you're not the problem. The room was built for somebody else. Let's build one for you.
THE
NORTH-STAR
METHOD.
Every exercise has a focal point that keeps the rep honest. I borrowed it from theatre. It's the single most useful thing I bring to a session — and it's why beginners feel safe within ten minutes of working together.
Written by hand. Every program.
No copy-paste templates, ever. Your program is written the night before your session so it reflects what your body told me last time.
A cue for every rep.
You'll never be told to 'engage your core' and left to guess. Every exercise comes with a concrete focal point you can feel.
Fifteen versions of one movement.
If a hinge isn't working today, we have fourteen other ways in. The pattern is the goal — not the photo.
We build vocabulary, not a workout.
By week 12 you have your own library of cues for your own body. You stop needing me. That's the win.
HOW IT
ACTUALLY
RUNS.
Not "book call → get plan → transform." Real onboarding is slower than that, and that's the point.
We talk first.
A short call. You tell me what's been hard. I tell you whether I'm the right coach. No pitch.
Assessment session.
An hour together. We move through every basic pattern. I take notes — by hand — on what your body is asking for.
Handwritten programs.
Every program written the night before. We meet 1–3x per week. You text me how the previous session felt the next morning.
You have a toolkit.
By week twelve, you have your own library of cues. You move on purpose, you train without panic, and you stop blaming yourself when something feels off.
THE GYM WAS
BUILT FOR
SOMEONE ELSE.
You walk in already apologizing — for not knowing where the dumbbells go back.
Every program online assumes you already know what an RDL is. You don't. That's not on you.
Mobility issues, hypermobility, an old injury — and somehow you're expected to figure it out alone.
IN YOUR OWN
WORDS, IN
TWELVE WEEKS.
Energy you can spend on the rest of your life — not bank into your next workout.
A body that does what you ask it to. A wardrobe that fits. A mirror that stops being a battleground.
Carry the groceries. Pick up your kid. Take the stairs without negotiating. Real-world strong.
WHAT CLIENTS
ACTUALLY SAY.
First trainer who didn't make me feel stupid for asking what a hinge was. By week 8 I was deadlifting from the floor — something I'd been told for a decade I 'shouldn't' try.
I've got hypermobility and chronic shoulder pain. Micaiah wrote me a different program every single week. I went from skipping training out of fear to looking forward to it.
I started because I was anxious about turning 30 with the body I had. Ten weeks later I can run for my train without my knees screaming. Small thing. Huge thing.
THREE WAYS
TO WORK.
For total beginners and people returning after a long break. We build a vocabulary of cues for your specific body, and the confidence to walk into any room and train.
Built around clients with hypermobility, chronic pain, recent injury, or limited range. Every exercise has fifteen variations. We find the one that's right for your body today.
For clients in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond who want to keep doing what they love. Strength, mobility and conditioning programmed for the next thirty years — not the next photo.
I WRITE EVERY
PROGRAM
BY HAND.
The night before your session, on a yellow legal pad. No templates, no copy-paste. Because the program reflects what your body told me last time — and a template can't do that.
Before this I was a graduate design student and an actor. I came into coaching through a friend with hypermobility who had been told for years the gym wasn't for her. Ten minutes into our first workout together, she said she'd never felt safe in a gym before. I got certified within ninety days.

Almost always yes. The Resilience program is built around clients with mobility limits, joint pain, or recent injury. Bring your imaging and your physiotherapist's notes — we'll work with both.
I've never lifted a weight in my life. Is this for me?+
Especially for you. Foundations was built for total beginners. The first session is a conversation, not a workout test.
Do you only train in person?+
Currently New York-based, in-person and hybrid. Reach out for availability.
